Ryo's index finger posture - Stay or go for S3?

I'm not sure whether many people even notice this, but Ryo has always had an odd hand posture (when running and in many scenes) with the index finger slightly out-stretched from the rest of the palm, also holding it with a slight curve.
Anyone want this to return in S3, or is it just awkward and better removed.
For me, its a detail that i hope they'll keep.

If they change this then I'm not playing Shenmue III at all. I may have waited over 15 years for this game but that wouldn't be what I've waited all this time for.
When we get the first real trailer and I see this has changed I'll be demanding the money I pledged back.
