Yep - I noticed that, too. Those punches get nowhere near the punch pads on the Title QTE machine!

I think you guys need to relax. Everything we've seen is unfinished.

I can understand why they are hesitant to show anything as work in progress, they just get torn a new one for it whenever they do.

I am relaxed. I just don't understand the logic behind showing a six month old WIP video, especially after the Gamescom reaction.

Maybe because the newer material isn't much better ?

because even this video was meant to be for the press and everyone who was there. At the beginning of the video it clearly states "Please do not record as it does not represent the latest of the game in development." Of course everyone recorded it for the rest of us who could not be there and we thank them for it =D> but i believe that in Yu's mind this was a video for the hardcore fans who came all the way to magic. Why we were teased for a gameplay video of course is another story

It puzzles me how so many people can’t understand why Yu traveled from Japan to attend Magic Monaco “just for a few screens and an old trailer”.

Shibuya helps with the game’s development ——-> in return, Yu attends Magic to attract fans an help the event get bigger.

What’s so hard to understand ?

Did 80 guys work on KCD ?? That's quite a lot, specially for the initial budget the game has. I guess that's around double of what SIII has on permanent plant.

I think that SIII is a pretty damn big game to be released this year, but who knows, we don't really know much the game is nearly finished (heck, wasn't the gamescom trailer already old when it was on gamescom ?).

What's wrong where the arrow is pointing at ?? (the red wood)
But yeah, that's some very noticeable building clipping right there.
And the animations don't look very good (posibly they'll look a lot more natural when the face is rigged well again).

Also I hate the muscle guy, I know it's an antagonist, he just looks straight from another game, and moves weird/glitchly, I don't think that's the main reason we should hate him though.

It's not the red wood, it's the entrance behind it.
The unfortunate villagers need to swim underwater to be able to get into their houses...

Seriously, this is another insult to all of us to release something like this over and over, and it's not the first time they do it. This could either mean they think we're so naïve to swallow anything they throw at us, or they actually don't have any QA whatsoever.

There's probably a deck that isn't being reflected, let's not be stupidly negative.

Does anyone know how the QTES in the video work? I see a blue orb with a yin/yang symbol but there aren't any button prompts or anything. Is it just press any button?

I like Shenmue 2 style QTEs that are basically fighting game input combos.

Yes ineed, let's not be stupidly negative.
There's probably a deck so tiny that can be hidden by the red wooden bar, maybe Ryo was actually jerking that broom stick off, and maybe some people feel better being stupidly positive.

Sound QTE. A specific sound leads you to push the right button. They're prototypes. Explained in Gameblog's interview with Yu at Gamescom.

Technophilz: very good find, I did not even noticed lol

That's just how some water towns in china are

The clipping of the buildings is more concerning, because it's easy to spot and easy to fix, I think there's some heat post processing that is making the thing look even worse than it is.

I just don't get why they are keeping the game low key or discreet. Infact, they've been doing that several times.
Is that good or bad though? Is there a chance Yu Suzuki will be going to GDC in March? Like he did back in 2014?
Kickstarter update 76 did say 'However, we are also looking into other media and events.'

Yep, the issue is only the finials which are crossing themselves.

Clipping is an intriguing threat because of Shenmue history. Sega AM2 always chose to prioritize environment over NPCs in the polygonal displaying. What will YS net decide?
