Yo, theres like over 1 thousand users (i forget exact number but i calculated it), we should all donate 5 bux to Yu and the Dig. team, if we ALL pitch in 5 bux, the total will be $6445

thats good for something! he'll see how devoted we are to Shenmue! How 6445 Bux devoted we are! :? im just a simple man, who wants to play Shenmue

secondly.. what is there? 100 people who come on a regular basis? thats like $500.. they probably pay an apprentice of some sort that amount of money per week..

yeah i would. imagine what sega will be like, seeing all these fans donating money to the series. this will definitely show them how dedicated we are! even if it is a minute amount, they will still see how much we care about it!

Hmmm. Yes that would be neat. Some could put in more if they wanted. Even if much wasnt brought. Still, it's MONEY going to Shenmue.. And a HUGE show of support. I have about $50 i'd be willing to throw in now.. We could make this a global thing, make a big deal about it, post in other forums.. It could be big... It would be best if the money could all be sent to one person, then from that person, to Digital Rex... Included is like some big note of appreciation for creating Shenmue. I know it would sure be hard to trust whoever would be holding all of the money however.. How would we be able to confirm that the money was actually sent? Write a check with the ammount of money gathered on it and take pictures of you putting it into the post office? lol, but really I am serious, i've been thinking about this for awhile. I really think we should look into doing this.

If you guys really want to do this, I think the only way to do it would be for everyone to send in the money themselves. That way you know it wanst stolen and it actually looks better to sega. It would be a wave of support coming in the mail in many different letters, rather than just one suprise package.

When I get mail, sometimes it's already opened and re-sealed... if put a money order in there what's to stop them from attempting to modify it so they can collect the money...
