yeah would be a cool lil' toy for promoting shenmue III but not to take its place, okay so is anybody in the making of a petition or is there already one out?

Well, was there any undeniable proof that Shenmue III was coming before any of this so-called situation came to light?

I certainly won't quit gaming just because a company name is gone, nor will I quit gaming just because Sammy may give Shenmue the axe. I'll be upset if there isn't any more Shenmue, but at least it was a nice ride while it lasted.

Gaming in general would take a severe hit. I hope not. It would give me, or rather, wouldn't give me a reason to buy any more consoles. Game consoles would definitely be over for me. The PC is another thing... ;)

I looked down the list of SEGA games at the European English SEGA site, and it amounts to Shenmue, Sonic Adventure, Headhunter and Rez.

Frankly right now my heart belongs to Konami....

Why does it have to be the shittest company to by SEGA.... Bloody hell if SEGA had to be bought by a company I would prefer Microsoft becuase there is a bigger chance of them helping SEGA out. It could mabye even help the Xbox sales in Japan. If onlt things went so smoothly.

man i would be soo damn depressed, so are there any petitions out yet, 1 to get rid of sammy and then maybe anotga 2 get microsoft, i actually really like the idea even if it was 50/50 microsoft and sega dont ya think it would b good?

Same here, I don't play that many Sega games anymore be they console or arcade games. I think most of Sega's best games were arcade games first, though. I do, however, want the arcade scene to be revitalized. That would be nice. And I, for one, am hoping that Sammy takes SNK Playmore as well. I might be the only one who is thinking that right about now, but that's what I want.
