When it seemed likely this was going to happen, I kept trying to find their pages for it. It's interesting that shenmue.com is still dead. It completely times out for me.

I hope they get it back up again.

Nah according to whois, SEGA still own it.

Awesome! I wonder what the deal is with shenmue.com these days? Figured Sega would still have that and use it to promote these remasters?

Just took a peak on meta-keywords of Shenmue's website:

"Shenmue, SEGA, Ryo, Hazuki, Lan Di, dojo, dragon, phoenix, mirror, Yokosuka, Dobuita, Hong Kong, yakuza, sailors, open-world"

"Sailors" being one of the most recognizable themes(?) of Shenmue seems logical to be included, haha. Also "yakuza" seems to be there because they want to attract players from the Yakuza fanbase (because of the similarities between the two titles).
