My friend is playing it for the first time on a Nvidia Shield. His first comment was that "the voiceovers are so bad". Haha.

Next thing he said though was that he wishes there was an easier way to save. I told him the best thing I guess you could do, if you're too lazy to run back to the house, is to just leave the game on then go back to a little later and you'll be forced back to the house at 11pm. Then it will give you the option to save. Forewarned him of an Ine-san scolding though.

Shenmue rumors claim the time skip/waiting feature of Shenmue II has been added to Shenmue I. This is NOT true. Feature remains in Shenmue II, is not in Shenmue I.

Totally agree, I think they don't have the budget to upgrade all the in game models, but the 70 Person Free Battle drop in quality models was noticiable even back in the day, somo model swap there must not be that difficult.

:???: That sounds awful.

Minimal, tasteful, surgically applied bloom thank you :)

My hope is that Shenmue II HD takes the best of both the Dreamcast and the Xbox versions. From the Xbox side, I'm hoping that improved textures, improved water, and building shadows are included. From the Dreamcast side, I would love to see the reduced motion blur effect and overall sharper look. Maybe a slightly reduced bloom effect would be OK.

The choice of skipping the forklift races in the morning. I'd love to not have to do them every day.

I want that too. Bet it's just all from the Xbox version though :(

I'm pretty sure this might be a big long shot but anyone think there might be 4K HDR support on the Pro or X? Since these are pretty old games at this point i can see them running no problem at native 2160p but yeah, i'm not holding my breath.

I think the ability to save wherever in one is a must. Them again we might see some sort of auto save feature as well?

Health bars for all enemies in 1 would also be good.

I hope a choice between 30 fps and 60 fps would be an option, but maybe the game logic is 30 fps and 60 fps is therefore not possible.

I think opening up the area between dobuita and the harbor would be cool. Maybe ride a motorcycle between the two whenever you wanted. Or maybe even add that motorcycle section as a minigame with online leaderboards. That would be fun.
