I still have my good old Dreamcast, but i would never sell her. I bought the Console from my very first earned money from my first Job. I have no more Games to play, but it's an Artefact for me. I can't selling her.

I know... it's a classic and the last Sega system, not to mention a good Sega system. The problem is that it takes up space and now nearly every game I loved on Dreamcast is available somewhere else. This means that the only classic game systems that I'll be keeping are my Sega Genesis and Game Gear. Everything else will have been sold off.

What about those of you who still have your Dreamcasts? Will you be selling yours as well or keeping it for posterity?

I will be keeping my blue VMU for my nerd shelf. I downloaded Chao Adventure to it.

I obviously don't know what your living situation is but I think you'll be disappointed once you realize what a used Dreamcast is actually going for nowadays. You'd be better off just keeping it.

I've been playing it constantly for years (before Kiwami 2 came in 2 weeks ago, I played a bunch of Sega Marine Fishing and Propeller Arena), so absolutely not.

If anything, since I'm on my third DC, I'd like to acquire a few more! lol

My Dreamcast had a bid on it in less than 30 minutes of posting it. Not bad as the starting bid was $200.

Well folks... it's done. My Dreamcast and games sold for $200. I kept my blue VMU as a keepsake for my nerd shelf. It also has Chao Adventure on it.

For those shocked that I sold it... look at it like this. Now someone else hasthe chance to fall in love with the Shenmue series before the HD Collection releases.

I somehow have 2 Dreamcasts. Maybe I'll sell one of them. Never selling Shen 1 or 2 though.

I have 2 Dreamcast's too :D

I think OP should keep it.

Why sell it? It's pretty small, so it doesn't take up a lot of space and it's still a pretty cheap system.. not to mention there are a lot of other great games you can play on it too besides the Shenmue games ;-)

A bit late to the party, but just be very careful you won't regret it!

A long time ago, I sold my Sega Saturn. Boxed, complete copies of Dragon Force, Shining the Holy Ark, Shining Force III, Burning Rangers, and a few others in that line. They're now worth hundreds of dollars and are pretty difficult to come by. Yikes.

If you ever think you might be bit by that nostalgia bug, don't do it!

I didn't sell my Saturn, but I got rid of Panzer Dragoon Saga, Burning Rangers and Radiant SIlvergun. I had a phase where I decided I was too mature for video games and I wouldn't miss any of them.

I think those would net me over a grand today. :\

But honestly, I'd just like to play PDS again.

I never had the chance, and I'm dying to! Someday.

Side note: I went to Babbages and they had Shining Force III and PDS. I went with SFIII, since I loved the series. In hindsight, I should have went with PDS.

But then again, that means I might have sold PDS later, which would have been even more painful!
