Shenmue Dojo

Bit of a silly topic, but i wanted to see if any of you were thinking the samething.

I plan on booking a week off work when Shenmue HD drops to fully enjoy the experience without any distractions. I also plan on booking a week off LIFE when Shenmue 3 gets released, but thats another story lol.

Any of you guys doing the same?

Depends when it releases, but I'm the kind of person who very rarely takes PTO unless I'm forced to before the fiscal year reset(use it or lose it), but I can see myself burning a couple vacation days for this.

Yes I am starting to thinking about that but I have a second job as a professor so I am praying that the release date coincides with an extended holiday here in Brazil

Doing the same. Booking some time off work for Shenmue HD. But for 3 I'm planning a vacation somewhere remote in a log cabin with just a TV, PlayStation and Shenmue III.

Absolutely. It will depend on exactly where I'm working, their policies, and how busy it is, but if humanly possible I'll probably take at least two if not three days.

My wife and I typically take 1-2 days off for big MMO releases anyway, and she knows how important Shenmue is to me!

Probably not. I'll take time for III, but I can play Shenmue HD once a night or on the weekends and I'll be satisfied.

HD no, but 3 absolutely. Been planning it for years now.

Just took 6 PTO days to move into my first apartment. Gotta use the other 4 wisely for the rest of the year.

I generally do take days off for new game releases. Incidentally, I have this Tuesday off for Yakuza 6..

For 3 absolutely. For HD it depends on what leave I have left. I'd like to.

Nope. I like money too much.

I'll probably be unemployed by then (august,isn't it?)

I'm pretty sure I won't have that luxury.

1. I work as a 911 dispatcher and have for the last 10 years.
2. Over the last decade I've learned to hate humanity and often leave work disgusted to be human.
3. Due to the above, I recently finished my bachelor's degree in computers with high honors.
4. No employer gives a shit.

Thus, for the foreseeable future, I'm working my 911 job, doing contract IT work on the side, and working on various certifications to bolster my resume so that I can relearn to enjoy being human again via changing careers and have an improved outlook on humanity in general.

I'm lucky to get 6 hours game time a week.

I'm a teacher, so I'm praying we get HD as close to the start of the school holidays as possible.
