I am buying the Japanese PS4 physical (cause I live in japan and its easy) I am buying both PSN and Physical US version. The XBL digital and Physical. And last but not least, the PC version.

I am probably getting just the PS4 physical version.

I'm considering getting copies as Christmas gifts for my brothers and friends but honestly knowing their gaming habits, they probably won't enjoy it.

I've preordered 2 so far, 1x for Xbox One and 1x for PS4, but I intend to buy digital versions for Xbox One and Steam too.

Closer to the time (when the digital versions preorders are up) I'll be sussing out how many gift copies I need to buy.

Does anyone know if there's a way to gift someone a game digitally on PS4 (w/o resorting to buying someone voucher code) or if the feature is coming? It'd be really handy to have this in place prior to Shenmue 1 and 2's release.

Very impressed with the package all round, it's incredibly affordable, nice to have a physical version of and the poster is a very welcome addition, there's something nice about a hefty game case xD.

Got 2 preordered at 365games and 2 preordered at Base! So that's 2 each of PS4 and Xbox One!

365games take money now, whilst Base take money at dispatch, so breaks up the payments for both lots. Thought i'd try both sites to see if either of them deliver a few days early, and was planning to get a second set to keep sealed anyways!

Also would definitely like to get a Japanese copy, and also a US version of PS4 and Xbox One...anyone know if there is any websites that ship to the UK taking orders for either the US or JAP versions yet?

1 for PS4 and 1 for Xbox One. I'll buy secondary copies when it gets cheaper down the line.

Hi. PS4 owner here. Just wondering, do I have to own an Xbox One to purchase games digitally for a friend without resorting to buying a credit code? I'd prefer to purchase Shenmue 1&2 directly for them, but they like their library to be all digital. I've seen some games on Amazon being sold as a 'download only code' but this does not apply to every Xbox One game I see. Could do with some advice here.

If all else fails, I'll just preorder them a physical copy and completely wreck the digital only library they've been building.

Yeah I just tried, you can do it on xbox.com but you need an xbox gamertag/microsoft account and I believe the gift receiver needs to be on your friends list.

One for Xbox One X if it comes with some enhancements, and maybe a copy for PC for modding purposes.

1-3... 100% a physical PS4 copy to play but I may get another to stay sealed and grab it on Steam as well. Depends how much modding I would like to try.

I'll be buying all 3, keep PS4 and Xbox sealed and play Steam copy.

One of each, will play on PC, and will randomly buy strangers/friends/family copies on Steam every now and then lol. :p

Will also buy on Switch if it comes to it. The more the merrier. (Might even buy two on Switch so I have one to play on the go, if it happens.)

Honestyl will probably buy at least one on both consoles and one on Steam, then gift some to friends. This is our golden opportunity that we never thought we would get. It HAS to be a success.

I'm gonna buy 3. One for PC to play and then one on PS4 and X1 to collect.

Sega stopped making these games due to lack of support, so I want to do what I can to make sure we get more games in the future.

I think, we shpuld do a Poll!

4 Copies atleast.

- PS4 Japanese Version (to keep it sealed)
- PS4 EU Version x2 (one to play, one sealed)
- Xbox One Version (Sealed)

I'll probably grab a steam version too but not day one.
