Awesome news! I saw from Metal Jesus' youtube channel that Adam and Corey had been running around E3 with a camera. Apparently they were interviewing people, but instead of asking normal questions, it was Corey (as Ryo) asking questions from Shenmue. Metal Jesus said it was hilarious as Corey never broke character.

I assume this video will be released on the 3rd, potentially with a release date announcement of the S1 S2 HD re-releases.

Either way, Sega have been killing it with their social media game! Very hyped!

I'd be going for a trailer & probable release date.

If it is a date then we could well have the HD releases by October.

Either way Sega is doing very well with the engagement hyping these releases.

You know what would really make it special? Many games release on a Friday these days, as opposed to a Tuesday.

What if it's not just the release date, but they decide to finally acknowledge the fervor, passion and dedication of years of fan support? What I mean is..

Nintendo updates the Switch eShop on Fridays. It's just the standard Nintendo day for games that are not multi-platform. With the high popularity of the Switch, it's likely that the reason you're seeing lots of Fridays now because you're interested in Switch games.

With multi-platform games they usually pick Tuesday because it's the standard PSN update day. Xbox doesn't have an official store update day, which is why most multi-platform titles pick Tuesday. A few bigger titles have picked Friday recently possibly as an experimental sales tactic to try and take win sales from Nintendo for people choosing to buy big title from one platform or the other.

I don't know anything, but I assume Sony maintains some kind of incentive for developers to schedule updates on their desired Tuesdays. Maybe they charge more for the ability to release on a non-Tuesday.

Tuesday as the traditional release day for games in North America predates PSN. In Europe it was always Friday, but with the Internet giving rise to spoilers and FOMO, many releases are now synchronized.

Game got ESRB rated. I assume this means the game is a lot closer than we thought?

My only issue with the Rating Summary is rather than saying "large amounts of cleavage" I would have said "absolutely stunning amounts of cleavage."

They missed an awful lot in their summary, particularly where language and violence is concerned. Not saying that's a bad thing - I don't believe in paying attention to ratings, even though I understand their utility - but you'd think a ratings board would be a little more meticulous.

Not yet. All they've officially said so far is something to the effect that it's going to be sooner than we think. (Don't they know how unreasonably optimistic I am?!) But Sega Europe has teased some sort of special announcement on the 3rd which many people are anticipating just might be the announcement of the release date.
