I'm able to put all but one screw back.A piece that was attached to the shell came off which holds a screw.Oh well, considering I bought this particular controller used so I wasn't expecting it to work for a long time. All I need is a new back shell case which is awesome at least.

Last time I take apart a PS3 controller.Found it more complicated than the xbox controller. Not only that, the triggers feel really loose and weird.Still works so I can't really complain.Still buying me another soon.

I don't think so, I never actually played onlineas it was too expensive at the time for my parents at the time, I still remained unbeaten though, it was the same for halo 1

Another day, another fucking embarrasment to the industry. Three different kinds this time!

For one, how about an executive from Asssasins Creed coming out and saying that 'subtle racism' in the industry means that Japanese developers aren't criticised as much for storytelling in video games as their Western competitors are. Says the man being overtly racist.

Or the lead designer behind Borderlands 2 talking about a mode in the game that reduces any sense of skill and calling it the 'Girlfriend mode'.

One of the first skills available in the BFF tree is called Close Enough. This means your bullets that hit walls or other objects, that is, miss their target, have a chance to ricochet off towards the enemy.

"Can't aim? That's not a problem," Hemingway said."

I'm all for a mode that eases people who aren't used to FPS into the game. But call it 'Rookie Mode'. 'Noob Mode'. Not fucking 'Girlfriend Mode'. May as well have said 'Tch, women eh?!. What a fucking clown.

And lastly, the new Splinter Cell game will have a torture scene where you the player must dig a knife into a man's body to get information. The developer calls it a 'tough moral choice'? I find it extremely uncomfortable seeing a game not only encouraging torture, but depicting it as an effective and acceptable method of extracting information.

^The first two articles I can agree are racist and sexist.

Not sure about the torture thing in SC. I saw the video and it was really uncomfortable to watch, for sure. But then again they've been doing the interrogation thing for awhile now, which is basically torturing a person for information anyway by slamming them on walls and kicking them around. Maybe they can make it an option? Torture with knife or through other means.

^ Doesn't appear to be that way. Looks like a scripted event that shows torture as being morally justified and a quick source of getting reliable information when the reality is never that simple. The subverted moral choice in the first Splinter Cell games was more effective in that you had the ability to both kill and render harmless. You had the tools to do both and it was completely up to the player how they did it. That was a moral choice. Not this 'OH CINEMATIC QTE, WHICH BUTTON DO YOU PRESS, OHHHH LOOK AT ALL THAT BLOOD!' nonsense.

I got my ass handed back to me on a silver platter while playing VF5:FS yesterday. Think I lost all the matches I played. Just couldn't break other player's defenses and they had the most perfect combos that took away half my life bar.....still fucking love that game though.

Thats part of what killed Ninja gaiden 3 for a lot of people, the scene where you just slaughter that guy. Making a player do something they don't wanna do is fine and dandy, MGS3 did it well with the boss, but when I was playing the HD version it just did it, it wasn't like on the PS2 where you had to consciously press the button knowing you were about to fuck over the entire world, it was automatic it removed the player. Its like things went backwards, with Sam slicking dude, Snake shooting the boss without hesitation and Ryu killing guys who aren't a threat.

Wow really? They made that part automatic in the HD edition? That does remove a lot of power that scene has by taking that control away from the player.
