Dragon Age III might now be a next gen title.
Dragon Age III: Inquisition is now reportedly targeting next-generation consoles, according to the LinkedIn page of a Level Designer at EA Shanghai that states "the scope of DAIII has been changed" or in this case "chaged", according to the typo-riddled post.
"Scope of the DAIII has been chaged [sic], which will target next gen platform [sic] and will be postpone [sic] to 2014," reads the LinkedIn profile of Level Designer, Tao Gu. Tellingly, as noted by Superannuation in his section on Kotaku, the official announcement press release from September, neglected to mention platforms, which could point to EA planning a next-gen launch for Dragon Age III.
It could be that the claims in the LinkedIn resume may be somewhat lost in translation however - which also explains the errors - and could instead be referring to the release being postponed from fiscal year 2013 to fiscal year 2014, placing Dragon Age III in an autumn 2013 slot.
Until EA offers a confirmation either way, we'll take all of this with the usual pinch of sodium chloride, better known as salt.
