Whatever Names You Want To Post Because Nobody Gets "Epic"

Postby KiBa » Mon Dec 03, 2012 4:49 am

This is a weird one, but might be interesting. Find some epic names in history or some you have encountered over the course of your life (real people, no fictional characters), and post them here for fun.

I have two ancient Roman names that I've always thought were amazing:

Emperor Maximinus Thrax

and

Blossius Aemilius Dracontius, a poet who lived during the fall of the western empire.

I was always jealous of Engelbert Humperdinck's name. German composer who wrote the opera "Hänsel and Gretel".

Pablo Escobar is an awesome name, IMO.

Brian Blessed fits the character in an appropriate way I think.

Good calls on Genghis Khan and Napoleon Bonaparte!

It's a pity only real ones are allowed, 'cos Bergerac is a pretty satisfying name to say.
