Despite the tissy fit two people had in this topic about something similar. AXM got me to think of games I bought only released in 2012. Now I bought well over maybe 100 games this year but most were either retro or a couple years old...or just last year. I got my 360 in spring and PS3 in october. So not as many 2012 games but there is a few next year. For just new games I will agree with AXM is a was a good year in that regard.

Actually i was thinking on this, I think Axm had a really good idea, I think it'd be cool to take pics of the stuff we picked up this year. I'm gunna post mine in the games bought thread tho.

A few weeks ago I was thinking about posting a topic or diary as I would like to call it chronicling my year in gaming. I will probably do it in the next few days or start typing it up at least.

I've had Assassin's Creed on my mind lately (haven't played the third one yet) and I was fighting a vampire in Oblivion when the vampire theme and Assassin's Creed collided in my head. I then pictured a Transylvanian assassin climbing an ominous looking castle, throwing bombs full of holy water, and staking a vampire in the heart with a hidden blade.

Longtime Wii and new Wii U hacker “Marcan” claims to have some information about Durango’s specs. Specifically, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 successor is rumored to have a 1.6GHz CPU.

A couple of days ago, Marcan also outed the Wii U’s CPU clock speed, which apparently comes in at 1.243125GHz. He said that the system’s GPU core clocks in at 549.999755MHz.

Of course, clock speed is just one element of a CPU (and hardware overall). Cores and hardware threads play a role with regard to performance as well. There’s been talk of Durango having anywhere from four to eight cores.

It goes without saying that all Durango spec rumors should be taken with a grain of salt. Remember, Microsoft still has yet to officially announce the new console!

I'm watching the Pier Solar kickstarter like a hawk. I really want that WiiU version, so I changed my pledge from a lowly Steam version to a lovely Dreamcast copy. I figure I'll get the DC version and pop it in the collection and then actually play the WiiU version which'll have all the stuff from the other versions plus the free updates and tablet integration.
