Sega Developed Game Lists

Postby Thief » Wed Jan 02, 2013 9:16 am

I've been wanting for a while to create lists for each of Sega's systems showing all the games developed by Sega on the console. I've started with the Sega Saturn because it's my favorite sega console and it's also not too large. So far I've completed the NA games on the saturn (I think... tell me if I'm missing anything or if I'm wrong) and I'm moving on to the Pal and NTSC-J games on the system. It's kind of tedious work though...

Anyway, for anybody interested here is the list of games.

SEGA SATURN NTSC-U:

World Series Baseball '98
Worldwide Soccer: Sega International Victory Goal Edition
*Also there's some demo discs*

I went ahead and omitted any games that had segasoft involvement, those games would have been Bug Too!, Scud: The Disposable Assassin, and Three Dirty Dwarves. I'm going to go ahead and start compiling the import Sega games for Saturn and then probably move onto the Dreamcast next.

Struggled deciding whether or not to put Ecco and Seaman on there, thoughts? Anyway... hope there's no errors but there probably are. Pal shouldn't take too long but NTSC-J games are annoying...

Hmm... A huge task you're making. So then, which criteria are you taking? Like for example, there's no Guardian Heroes or Grandia in the Saturn list. Sorry if i didn't understand the first time.

Anyway, nice compilation of info.

I'm cross referencing currently existing lists on the web and researching who developed each game on the lists. So basically I'm at the mercy of whoever created the original lists but that's fine; I wouldn't bother with this otherwise.

I'm only including games that were developed by one of Sega's own studios (Wow Entertainment, AM2, AM3, Sonic Team, et cetera) Guardian Heroes was developed by Treasure so I didn't include it. Grandia was developed by Game Arts but was also not available to NTSC-U anyway on the Sega Saturn. I had some confusions such as the Sega Sports line of games, were they developed by a Sega Studio? I'm not sure, I mostly included them because of the Sega Sports title.

Well here's an easy one...

Sega 32X NTSC-U

After Burner
Knuckles Chaotix
Kolibri
Metal Head
Shadow Squadron
Space Harrier
Star Wars Arcade
Tempo
Virtua Fighter
Virtua Racing Deluxe
Zaxxon's Motherbase 2000

Don't think there are any Sega developed exclusives for Pal or NTSC-J for 32X. I excluded the Baseball game from this list and will go back and look over the other two lists and check to see which sports titles were actually developed by Sega.

If you put in Ecco, you should put in Kolibri, since they're made by the same team.

I'll go ahead and add Kolibri to the 32X list. While it's debatable whether or not Ecco and Seaman should be included, I still think they're important enough to mention. I think, when I do other lists such as the NTSC-J Saturn list, that I'll be sure to add the other games by Open Book 9003 as well.
