More or less looking at 1 more week in Australia,.and if i havent gotten a job by then, i could very well be on my way home. Very hard times, and really hope something comes through. Dont want to go home and be seen as a failure.

But yeah, you really shouldn't feel like a failure, Peter. You haven't been there long at all, at it's extremely hard to find a job in foreign country in such a short time span, especially when you don't know anyone there. Good luck though, don't give up hope yet!

When my cousin retires from the RAF next year he's moving to Australia to open a plane model shop, so the timing's all wrong. Although another cousin of mine's currently over there, I haven't spoken to her in years and I ain't sure if she'd be able to get him a job (pretty sure she's living off of savings) There's also an old school friend there, but she's pregnant and engaged so I don't talk to her anymore either.
