^I like how they showed him sitting on a bench as if it's one of the greatest additions that revolutionizes gameplay and the way we will look at games through out the rest of our lives

Its almost like basing an entire community around a game in which you rifle through drawers and drink coke.

neither of you have played The Last Story. You can sit down om benches there as well. It's now an essential gameplay mechanic to RPG's on Nintendo system.

Sitting on benches? Assassin's Creed did it first.

it's not about who did it first but who did it best. nintendo are clearly setting the standard for bench sitting with their new release.

I have been dreaming (as many others, I believe) for a 3D Pokémon game, even from the very first time I played the Yellow version. -When I looked back then at the Pokémon DX on Gamecube, it gave me some hopes that it was what I were dreaming for, but instead it was a disappointing from my expectations spin-off.- I were dreaming it as a 3D game were its environments and characters would looked liked the ones in the anime (for example, with taller characters than this et cetera).

In any case, (I think) it is a fulfillment, because I can understand that they try to adapt the graphic style of the previous Pokémon games, into a 3D looking one, which is something sympathetic. It is looking as a game that I would easily buy a 3DS, just to have the chance to play it (well... if I were 7-10 years younger, I think I could definitely go for it...). [I may sell my Wii+games for that...]

I do not know what will be its scenario (hope it will be that good as Yellow's or Gold/Silver/Crystal's), but one improvement I had like to see, is the animations at Pokémon battles. I had like to see more action to be dramatized in the scene (not just monsters waiting to be hitten, but e.g. moving around to avoid an attack ...just more movement), so as to create more impressive/surprising / emotionally exciting moments (somehow as watching the anime).

In a last note, it is the only Pokémon game that (until now) makes me wanting to have it, as the R/G/Y (and G/S/C) ones did to me likewise (the first time in an encounter with a Poké game).

Update: My favorite Pokémon is Mewtwo and I just saw that something is going to happen with it in the game. Seems Nintendo is going big with it... (or is just all hype and in the end ...a bluff).

Just like Grand Theft Auto, you can beat up the prostitute to get your money back. Except this time the beating takes the form of a Pokemon battle.

New type of pokemon that's super effective against dragon type. Gotta be honest, I didn't see that coming at all.

I've never felt like a pleb playing Pokemon. Ever. That mimic thing though... ugh... I think I'd rather dress up as a Disney princess and play with a Polly Pocket.
