Anything that has a reference to Breakfast Club is a win in my book. I know why OL hates it. Still love it personally for the reason he hates it

He hates the 80's and does not believe in a few hours a few teens can become best friends. Then again fuck realism. It's fun.

^^Absolutely. There are some things I have nostalgia for in the 80s, such as old games and the odd movie here, but the stuff that actually defines it for most people (the grand majority of the music, the tv shows, the clothing) is just embarrassing as fuck. And as much as most people like to claim otherwise, the cartoons suuucked. The American ones at least. There was still some really good anime.
But yeah, there's more to the Breakfast Club for me than just that retarded lack of plausibility. All the whiney-ass moaning kills it too. That's the biggest thing.
I can enjoy a teen movie if it's actually funny, but teen dramas are a damn nightmare. I can't take any of them seriously because they're fucking teenagers. I've never been able to take teenage drama seriously, even when I was one myself.

Oh, and just so you know Ryudo, that video was actually edited to make it a Breakfast Club gag. That music isn't actually in the game.
Good edit though.

When did Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn get so expensive? It's been around 30 dollars for a long time, but I just checked now and the price has doubled.

It been one of the hardest Wii games to find for years, mostly because no on wants to get rid of it. There were a ton of prints but if you want it you'll need to pay full price.

I haven't checked Nintendoworld in a while but they usually have it for 40$.

Never played a Fire Emblem game before but this review has me pretty hyped for it's eventual Europe release.

http://www.shacknews.com/article/77805/ ... xclusivity

Article on how Sony is losing developer support out the anus.
Maybe a doom piece but not that far fetched.

Mistwalker will never develop for a Sony Platform. Gooch is still very angry how Sony treated him at Square when they owned 20%. He said a few years ago he would never make a game on a Sony platform because of the mistreatment. Why his games been on Microsoft and Nintendo systems. Sony has a track record treating developers very similar to how Nintendo did in the 80's and early 90's. A firm grip and unreasonable, too many demands. Does not help Sony that PS2 and PS3 were hard to develop for. I am not saying Sony will be losing developers like the article says just saying if true it will be Sony's own fault.

Feck, I hope Radiant Dawn doesn't get too expensive now that the latest Fire Emblem is lighting the charts on...erm, fire.

Nah, the 80s has some really great movies. Never been a fan of the 70s, myself.

^That's actually pretty cool.

It's actually a surprisingly good game, too. I recommend it (provided you enjoy jet fighter and helicopter combat). Long-time fans of the series tend to dislike it, but if you're new to the whole thing, then it's just a really solid flight action game.

Speaking of which, how's the 3DS version? Anyone know?

That article paints a pretty grim picture for Sony, though you're right it does not sound that far fetched. I can understand only too well why the sly cooper dev felt flustered with Sony for a lack of marketing. It wasn't that long ago that Sony engaged in a ton of layoffs to their promotion and advertising people, some of them remarking that instead of doubling down and trying to get the word out even harder that Sony instead opted to cut costs by slashing marketing and sending games out to die. The article does leave some hope for the next gen to mend some of their wounds however. For my part, I think that if sony simply stopped getting high off it's own fumes, looked at what worked and what didn't work, they would be in a far better position.
