Son Goku eraser?

Hey guys. So I'm playing Shenmue again. Just started today, actually. I'm currently at the point in the story where I need to go to Ajichi restaurant to ask about Chinese people, but I havne't gone there yet. I'm trying to take my time this time around.

So, I'm walking around, exploring, and for no reason at all I decide to talk to this little kid who's just staring at one of the toy capsule machines in front of the Abe store. So Ryo asks him if he knows anyone who is Chinese. At first he says no, but then he goes.. "I know someone who is Chinese; Son Goku!." Then he goes back to staring at the machine and says, "You can get a Son Goku eraser from this capsule machine." He was looking at the machine on the left, which has the Virtua Fighter characters on it.

I'm assuming this kid was talking about Goku from the DragonBall anime. And if I'm right, then it would be pretty damn cool to have this in my collection.

But does this eraser really exist? Anyone ever gotten it??

He was probably talking about Sun Wukong.

Yeah, you could be right. But, why wouldn't they just say "Son Wukong" then?

I tried searching on the net for this thing, and found nothing. Kinda weird, ain't it?

Goku is based in a popular Chinese legend. The original character was called Sun Wukong witch means (if I remeber), king monkey.

I believe Goku is the Japanese way to say Wukong at least that's what Google told me.

Wait, so you mean, first we discover that "son goku" is not actually in reference to everyone's favourite shonen hero, but not only that, there's no son goku eraser at all! What a double blow that was. Imma get you for this Yamamoto kun *shakes fist* I don't even believe he's really 7 yrs old- I reckon he's just a mischievous short guy.
