Metal Gear Solid V: Looked amazing
World of Tanks: If I really liked tanks I would cum like mad but I don't.
Max: Meh didn't look that interesting.
Ryse: Looks interesting but not something I'd rush to shops for.
Killer Instinct: Don't care about fighting games other then Smash Bros.
Sunset Overdrive: Meh
Forza 5: Looks nice but don't care for racing games.
Minecraft: Never seen the appeal.
Quantum Break: Remedy is one of my favorite studios so I'll get this for sure.
D4: Loved Deadly Premonition so I'm very interested. Little put off that it seems to be a Kinect game.
Project Spark: I want to play games not make them.
Crimson Dragon: Looks like it's no longer a Kinect game so I'm in.
Dead Rising 3: Looked fucking amazing. Always wanted a zombie game where you could have 1000's on screen. The original games trailer blew me away with the amount of zombies onscreen and this did the same.
Witcher 3: Always wanted to try the series this also looked good.
Battlefield 3: Meh.
Halo: I always end up playing Halo but it's not a day one buy. Still not even played Halo 4.
Below: Looked cute but didn't make me interested.
Titanfall: Meh. Not huge on mechs.

The point is that you can just wait for the inevitable price drop, which would be the smart thing to do. Then you would really get your money's worth. And you're going to spending more than $500 when you consider buying controllers and all the games you want to buy.

Then should I not get a PS4 until the PS5 comes out as that's when it will be cheapest? No you wait until its a price you're happy to pay. Should you like enough games paying $500 may not be to much for some. It doesn't make you a moron like you claim.
Do people really worry about controllers anymore? Anytime I play multiplayer it's online or the person has their own controller. I haven't bought a second one since the PS1/N64 days.

Some people like to have their consoles from day one and can afford to pay it. Only poor people have to wait for price drops.
