Yea, theres more then one branch of monolith now. That piece of art came from the Kyoto branch, and this job posting that just got put up is from the same branch.

It's more likely an original game than a sequel to BT. Unless they out a subtitle and make it so anyone can pick up the game and play without playing the others.

Stranger things have happened, plus its not like no one played the first 2 games look at the FB and Opra comments. We're getting PxZ in English and that has a few direct references to NxC's story.

I'm happy either way but I'd be happiest if they did a third game.

At this point like Mistwalker I'm a sucker for Monolith games. They can put out a Jersey Shore game and still likely make it great.

I hope its a new Baten Kaitos, but at the same time a new original game is certainly welcome as well. What branch of monolith did Soma Bringer? And speaking of Soma Bringer, wonder if this game will get skipped for the west too like Soma Bringer was, seeing as they are both on nintendo hand helds.

This 3DS game is the same team as Xenoblade. X is a different team I believe and using a different artists and composers

whew, that rumor got debunked and im glad about that. I liked how Xenoblade was long but stepped away from the Episode format, I dont expect monolith to return to the episode format either.

Deleted the last post because the old vid was 480P Now have a full 1080P trailer. This and XV are my most wanted games next year.
The game is a fully open world like Xenoblade. Launches 2014.

undies = soiled. It looks like a combination between Xenosaga and Xenoblade. Hell I might even say Gears/Saga/Blade. I want to know how/if this game connects with those games, or maybe it even ties them all together? After finishing Xenoblade I had a few thoughts about the possibility of it being connected to the other Xeno games, I thought to myself I dont really think it is, there are similarities but no real references between the 2, but if they are connected I would say that Xenoblade takes place first on the time line. I would have to give Xenogears Perfect Works a look through in addition to the Xenoblade Book they released which I havent even seen before. I would say they arent connected, but im not gonna doubt the possibility.

Namco owns the Saga IP and Square owns Gears IP. However since shulk was shown in the original trailer. I'm sure it has some connection to o XB. Now you never know they could give 3 spiritual successors in one with a name like lets say Xenoblad II: Gears Saga
