Looks great. Interested to know more. Also watching the Sony conference late and WTF is with the random shots of the audience?

I like the look of it. Will probably run at a high frame rate too. Kinda Ico or Journey esque obviously too.

Looks really good. ICOesque. I'm interested.

Rime and Rain are the closest to a Team Ico game you will get anytime soon.

It looks nice, and I probably wouldn't mind playing it, but jesus christ... it looks like an even bigger Ico ripoff than Lost in Shadow.

I don't know how to explain it exactly, but some games just have such an individual, uniquely-artistic feel to them that I don't actually want to see clones of them. If another game is obviously swiping their style, it makes that clone feel a bit cheapened in a way, whether it's a good game or not.
Ico has that kind of individuality. As does Journey, as do Suda's earlier games. So when I see something like this, I just don't get as turned on by it as others seem to.
I don't mind if the gameplay is the thing that gets swiped; Ico wasn't unique in that regard anyway. But come on, at least be original with the aesthetic concepts. If I want a child protagonist, bloom-lighting aplenty, misty oceanside settings, artistically ruinous environments, and shadow-like enemies, I'll just go play Ico.

This is why I have nothing at all against Rain. That actually looks really good. Appears to be an Ico clone from a gameplay perspective, but the aesthetics are completely different.
Like I said, this one looks nice... I'm just a bit put off that they're obviously aiming to be artsy, but couldn't bother to even try for a bit of aesthetic originality. Their "artistic" efforts are rendered moot because of that.

^I'll likely pick it up and enjoy it, but I completely agree with you in principle. This game borrows so heavily from Ico it's almost sad.

Devs need to focus on making the next Ico, as it were.

Oh, and if Team Ico could get their act together and release The Last Guardian that would be very nice thankyouverymuch.

Was not a ripoff if you actually play the game. The art style is by an artist from GiTS. The art style is no doubt Ico ish and has a similar vibe to the game at the very first but LiS is it's own thing and a great game to boot. Has it's own type of gameplay and it's own atmosphere.
