I'm trying to find someone who has played Armored Core: Last Raven. Apparently the developers thought it would be amusing to give no sound directions in a game that should require a Master's Degree.

so I have talked to Dorian alot lately on PSN. He is convinced Xenosaga II is Monoliths best game. He still hates Xenoblade though. We had some discussion about Vita which he apparently owns now, and loves, he wants TITS1 and asked me which Ys games on PSN would be the best to purchase, and since I havent played them I could not answer.

what a character he is

I'm a huge AC fan, but I haven't played through all of the games yet.
Even so, I have heard that Last Raven, in particular, is hard as fuck if you don't have an AC already built and ready to transfer over from the earlier games (AC3, Silent Line, Nexus, or Nine Breaker), so don't feel too bad if it's proving difficult. It's one of those where the devs expect that you've played everything before. Armored Core is funny like that.

not sure wherever I should get innocent sin or xenogears.

Also fuck sony for not allowing more than one PSN account to be used on the vita without formatting it, there is absolutely no real reason to do so other than fuck over the consumer.

Yeah that's the main thing I don't like about the Vita. I see why they did it, but it still sucks. I have all three of my accounts on my PS3/PSP but only my US account on my Vita. Would be nice to be able to switch between them. Never played Innocent Sin, but Xenogears is worth the money. I love playing PSONE classics on PSP/VITA, they just seem so crisp and vibrant on those little screens. Xenogears, Alundra, SotN and about 15 others are on my Memory stick at all times.

This PS4 ad is really cool. Except for the Kasabian poster of course.

LOL. Thanx. Sorry for the late response. It's sad, but I felt a huge sense of accomplishment when I got my mech strong enough to beat the generic test mech and the first available arena opponent. And each fight took me about 15 minutes.

Totally random though: Driv3r wasn't such a hot game. Played it way back when it came out, and it was pretty bland all-around.
But there was one aspect of it that was absolutely awesome, and I don't know why more games haven't tried it; its cinematic replay mode.
Basically you could replay a mission, and as you were shooting and driving your way through, the game would record the data of everything you were doing. Then, when you finish the mission, you could go back and choose camera angles and essentially set up a movie-style action scene. You could set the camera looking at an enemy in profile just before he gets blown away, set it on the ground in an up-shot as the protagonist runs by, set it right over his shoulder as he takes aim and fires away at more enemies.
The game is full of glitches and whatnot, but here's an example (nowhere near as cool as some of the ones I made back in the day 8) ):

The game was meh, but playing around with that aspect was brilliant fun, and I wish games nowadays would take a cue from it.
I already traded it in, but just imagine an aspect like that finding its way into GTAV or something, being able to record and edit rampages from whatever angles you want. Considering that the PS4 is (from what I hear; I may be wrong) going to allow you to capture gameplay and upload it from the console, it'd be amazing if more games utilized a feature like this. Then people could show off not only their gameplay footage, but also their cinematography skills. It'd really add a fuck-ton of replay value to just about any game. People would be striving to make their gameplay fun to watch, rather than trying for pointless achievements or whatever other nonsense.

Well Gone Home is probably one of the worst games I've ever played.
