Finally decided to create an account due to all the recent activity/news regarding Shenmue.

Anybody have suggestions of the celebrities we should target? We need the type of celebrity that would generate news simply because they mentioned Shenmue.

I like Colbert because i think he has the ability to get people to join the campaign. In addition, there is a good chance he mentions it on his TV show. Stranger things have happened. I'm not expecting a big name celebrity to "vouch" for Shenmue. At the least, I think we can get a simple tweet that will generate attention. In order for this to happen we would need a lot of support and I don't think it hurts to try.

I suggested Stephen Colbert because I think he is an easy target. He often mentions things fans bring to his attention on air. For instance, if we get one person to post something about the campaign on his Facebook page and then at 100 people that comment in support of the campaign, we might get a response. Furthermore, we could set up a separate Thundercalp just for Colbert. I think it's worth the effort. Yes our chances may be slim but like I said, stranger things have happened.

He is the type of celebrity who would support a campaign like this. Undoubtedly, if we can get any celebrity to mention Shenmue it will be a huge help.
