I had lunch with Lisle Wilkerson last week.

Hi Everyone,

Last week, I had arranged a meetup with Lisle Wilkerson (english voice of Joy, Xuying, and Yuan) in New York City.

I brought along my co-admin from Shenmue500K, Norris.

We met up just to hang out, not really for any interviews or anything like that.
I consider her a friend, so I do not want to go down the fanboy route haha.

Was a nice time.

She did tell me some cool things like her inspiration for Xuying was the character Samantha from Sex in the City.

Joy is closest to her voice, so when she laughed it was literally Joy lol.

Lisle is a great person and very fun to talk to.

I hope to see her again soon!

Yeah she is a really nice person.
Very knowledgeable about the voice acting industry too.
It was cool to get some insight on how that industry operates as I will be doing my first job soon myself.

Wow, that's amazing. She does the voice for Xiuying AND Joy? even Yuan. Pretty cool to do that.

i think she meant Yuan, at least that what she said in the sega bits interview.

Mystery solved then. I don't know much about the series but at least got the impression that the character was kind of different? And I'll check out that interview later. I apparently missed it but liked a few of their other interviews.
