After the subpar showings of the last couple years, I expect nothing to catch my eye. I kept expectations so low that I'm probably not going to even watch it this year. All the games seem less innovative and exciting every year. I guess I'm getting old?

I only watched Sony’s conference last year. Only one I'm interested in watching.

Does anyone know if that new mass effect they were talking about a year back will be shown?

Not a big fan of sony's games. They're either too cinematic and don't feel like a video game or seem like a cheap Nintendo ripoff.

I know. They're games are being exhibited by their business partners which is why I hoped Yakuza would be at Sony’s booth. They don't seem to have any PS3 games at the show which would explain that..

And what's there to really show, anyway? It's a damn near two and a half year old game. I'm sure the whole thing is already on youtube in several places, so I can't imagine it was a priority for showing off.

It might be a bit early, but there’s a possibility
that Nintendo might even talk about its next
console. The company recently confirmed that it's
working on its next major console and it’s
codenamed the NX. Much more likely, however, is Nintendo speaking about its recently inked partnership with DeNA for its first official foray into the mobile gamesarena.

The first Nintendo smartphone and tablet
games are due out this holiday season, so it’s
bound to be a topic of interest for coverage at E3. Since the New 3DS and New 3DS XL are both
doing so well, Nintendo may focus a large
portion of its E3 Nintendo Direct to its handheld
duo. The pair both have improved processors
and graphical abilities compared to their predecessors, so we should start seeing New 3DS family exclusive games in the very near future.
