Haven't bought any games in a long while, but just got a 3D fighting game itch after looking through some arcade game videos on YouTube. Decided on these:
I owned this a long time ago, like early 2000s when I first got my Dreamcast, so it's really going to be a nostalgia rush when I play it again.
And this one:
(EU version, just couldn't find any decent box art on Google for it). Which I've never actually played before, but looks really intriguing and really different from any other 3D fighting games out there that I've seen. The fighting arena is in this glass cube that both you and your opponent float around in firing energy/lasers/fireballs at one another as well as your usual array of punches and kicks. The games just screams a "1990s idea of the future" [which I have a soft spot for] with its cyberpunk aesthetic, leather jackets, crazy haircuts and has that 90s anime art style too. Just been playing nothing but Shenmue 2 lately on the Dreamcast (up to Kowloon now) and just delving back in to the Dreamcast game library, so, this seemed like, hopefully, a hidden gem. It was a real cheap game too (around 5 quid).
