Emojis

Classic as they are, some of the old smileys are a bit shit, and I've become accustomed to using emojis over the last year as any other normal human being.

Why not add emoji support? Or can the boards just not handle em for some odd reason?

I still don't understand how these modern, universal emojis work. It's some kind of voodoo, right? I feel like a technological revolution rolled through while I was in the bathroom.

The forum software comes from an era where emoji were non existent or very very new, so naturally we have these ancient emoticons.

Unfortunately these boards' software currently doesn't support emoji (I tried posting one here and the forum gave me an error).

In the not so distant future, where Shenmue Dojo gets an overhaul, emoji insertion will be supported by the brand-new forum software that the current boards will migrate to.
