That's something I wish I had done. I blew through it my first time, and I missed most everything.

Welcome to the Dojo, Zelda.

I know same here. I just rushed through the whole thing non-stop. When I played the game, I never ever went inside a store. Missed secrets the arcades and everything.

When I play Shenmue-3, I'm gonna make sure I'll play it as slow as possible, and avoid these boards incase of any spoilers.

yeah, me too! that'll probably mean going away for a good couple of months as the UK release will probably be a lot later.

Welcome to the Dojo.

As somebody said above, try to complete Shenmue II as slowly as possible. You'll be glad when do because then you will have less time to wait for Shenmue III! Something which all of us here are awaiting with great anticipation.

By the way, I take it from your name that you're a Legend of Link fan?

Zelda i have a word of advice for you. You are at the most BEST part in the whole entire game! Once you get out of the YELLOWHEAD OR BIG OX BDG. The game tends to get VERY boring! I hope you make it past Guilin.

I might actually get someone to give me a daily update with what's going on or something, because as you rightly put, we can't be taking any chances...

Although i'll see how feel nearer to the release...

Through the 5 times I have played through shenmue 2 (DC and XBOX put together) I have never done the duck races or seen Fangmeis birthday I always stuck to the general story which I wish I hadnt but I always forget about these cool little secrets and when I remember them Im way to late to do them.

lol that's a shame because Shenmue II's secrets are really worth seeing and totally worth the effort. I remember when I first heard of the duck races and I just thought "WTF? This is Shenmue II you're talking about right?" lol. But when I went and done them, I just thought it was the coolest thing because I had already completed Shenmue II twice by then and unlocking the secrets just put so much more life back into the game, it felt "fresh" again!
