March so not long. Japenese voices which I like. Can't wait Yakuza 2 has got to be one of my favrouite games ever. So I'm buying this first day.

But man is the start of next year going to be crazy. FFXIII, FFCC:CB, Ace Attorney: Miles Edgeworth, Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Lost Planet 2, Dead Rising 2 and now Yakuza 3.

This is one of the very few bits of news that could have actually elicited the excited "YES!!!" I just yelled, which echoed throughout my house, and was probably heard by everyone in my state, as well as certain parts of Louisiana, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.

Best news I've heard since... well, since the announcement of Uncharted 2, actually. I mean, there's been other good news since then, but this tops it all for me. Same as Riku, Yakuza 2 is one of my favorite games. And the fact that, like the localization of Y2, the dialogue will again be in Japanese is a HUGE point of excitement for me.
I just hope it gets properly advertised and sells well. I also want Yakuza 4, of course, and obviously the chances of that happening hinge on how well Y3 does.
Still, very very excited..
Comes out right after my birthday too, so I'll no doubt actually have some extra cash at the time.
First day buy, man.

Just made me think of the Yakuza 3 PS3 bundle that was released in Japan. Do you think the same will happen West side? I don't see why they shouldn't try a bundle of some sort. Nothing too extreme like a white coloured Slim with a dragon design, a new box design with the game packed in would suffice.

In Japan, Ryu Ga Gotoku is practically the face of Playstation right now, alongside MGS. It's popular as hell (almost as popular as GTA or Modern Warfare is everywhere else), so a bundle in Japan makes perfect sense.
In the US and UK... well, as far as the mainstream is concerned, it's just another game. They won't make a bundle over here. It'd be like making a bundle for Turok or Dark Sector. Both great games, but they aren't really the primary games people are going to buy entire systems for. There's a cult following for Yakuza, but it isn't big enough to warrant a special edition PS3.

In Japanese too? Awesome. Just awesome. This alongside Mass Effect 2 has me very excited for games of next year, in fact, the most excited I've been in some time. Thank you, Sega, I guess you proved me wrong this time, thankfully.

I think Yakuza 3 looks exactly like what I'd want Shenmue III to be. Seriously guys, if we want Yakuza 4 localising too, we have to buy this game when it's first released, I bet there was some arguing in Sega to get this done, so please buy it when it's first released. Show your support, fellas.
