Gonna start Ratchet & Clank HD.. I guess today since its 1 in the morning. You will also see me playing Yakuza 3 still sometimes because I am playing through and showing the main story and some of the side stuff to my dad.

I showed my dad all of each Uncharted game. Most of Darksiders. All the Resonance of Fate main storyline. Part of LA Noire and I mean to finish it one day with him.

Last night I started showing him up to just before you go meet Majima. Its a pretty long intro to that game.

Its not different than having him sit down to watch a movie. Just takes longer.

I always forget to ask, did you end up liking Resonance of Fate's story.

I only show my dad things that I think are worth showing. In fact he pointed things out to me I hadn't realized myself.

In a nutshell I really connected with it and will keep fond memories of it.

Edit: And I essentially beat it 3 times, once my first time, the second time when I got the platinum and the third when I showed him.

I shamefully thought they were just using christian symbols to seem cool, the way western media will use really mundane Japanese words to seem cool. Are you much into strategy games? If you haven't already, Valkyria chronicles is another really good game on the PS3, that has an interesting take on WW2. It generally goes for like 10-20$ too so its cheap.

I've done nearly all I can do in Arkham City. I beat the main storyline and the side missions a few days ago and finished collecting the Riddler trophies yesterday. I still have the Harley Quinn DLC to do, but I need to take a break from playing it.

Been itchin to play it again for a while but I don't want to kill it. Plus I've got about 35 games in my backlog to get through and I wanna play Arkham Asylum again first. Not sure how I'm gonna cope with the stripped down mechanics though. I remember re-visiting Vice City after playing San Andreas for about a year n I just couldn't do it because of the lack of free-moving camera and primitive targeting system. I'm hoping that gliding and the combat sections of AA won't suffer a similar fate for me.

Still playing Yakuza 3. Spent a lot of time this break trying to accomplish various side missions and unlockables. I swear I've logged a good 75 hours into this game this past year. Now I am on Chapter 12 and I feel the end is near yet I do not want it to be..However after I am done with this I have about 15 games I have been meaning play through or finish. Including Yakuza 4 and Yakuza: Dead Souls.

Back to KoA: Reckoning. Bought the DLC's a little while back when on offer so trying them out at the moment.
