So I just picked up Gungriffon Blaze today... and I'm actually kind of floored by how unique the controls are.
This came out before dual-analog control for FPS's was the standard, so it opts for something completely different. And after you get used to it, it works surprisingly well. It's kind of hard to explain this feeling, but I almost want to say that it feels... stylish, in an odd way. It's not something you can just watch in a video. You genuinely have to feel how it plays for yourself, give it a bit of open-minded time to sink in, and see how you like it from there.
But I'm absolutely loving the little bit I've played so far. Now I'm feeling like as soon as I finally get hold of a Sega Saturn, the original Gungriffon will be among the first games I get.

Nice little bonus that the music is absolutely fantastic.

Always wanted to play Gungriffon Blaze. Is it crazy fast or more like a simulator type game in its approach? It's a right bargain nowadays too, eh? Huh, didn't realise that Game Arts developed that series, pretty big difference from the likes of Grandia and Lunar, lol.

^Knowing Orange and his OCD ways, he'd have to collect every last bit of Gungriffon media under the sun and review them all in one video!

I could. I also picked up the Xbox one as well (don't have my Xbox hooked up though, so I haven't tried it). If I ever get to the Saturn one to round the series out -- and if I continue to be impressed by it all -- then it definitely seems like there'd be enough content to do a video on the series as a whole.
(EDIT: I typed that before I saw Henry's comment. )
Working on a bunch of others at the moment anyway.

I don't want to speak too soon on it (only played the training area so far to get a handle on things), but I can't say it's super-fast so far. I'd say the speed is somewhere between the zippiness of Armored Core 4 and the tank-style of Armored Core V; it's a comfortable speed.
The game does seem a little more on the arcade side of things though, rather than being anything particularly complicated or in-depth. I think you might be able to customize your robots to some extent, but I might be wrong. Didn't play around with anything like that too much. I'll have to spend more time with it.

And yeah, it was super-cheap. Got a completely new copy for less than 15 bucks. Crazy.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is currently in my PS3. Been wanting to play it for so long since I loved the demo. The game itself is alright, the puzzles and the big enemy mini-bosses are too tedious, redundant and tacked-on. The story is nothing special either (though it's a little better than the movie it's based off of).

The game really shines when it gets to the action, which they over complicate but it's still very fun. I also love those over-the-top action moments like the bridge and the helicopter stuff. It had potential to be great but it's worth playing for the action alone.

Next up is that cel-shaded Prince of Persia game and continuing Read Dead Redemption.

Sounds educational.

And I am going to check out this gens PoP games eventually.

I am on the final boss in Ratchet & Clank. Then I will probably do a New Game + to get the golden guns or start the second game.

Would that make Undead Nightmare a Typing of the Dead remake?

Return to Mysterious Island - surprisingly good

So the final boss in R&C I almost won but died at the very end before the boss died (the boss just had a sliver of health).

So I went and grinded for enough bolts to buy the RYNO gun. Easiest boss ever with that gun. Hard without it, easy with. It costs an arm and a leg though, 150,000 bolts.

Now I am doing New Game + and might start the second game soon.

Still on Oblivion. 178 hours and 100% achievement'd. Don't think I've ever 100%'d a game before (he says, after probably saying achievements "didn't matter" in that topic about them ages ago. ;-)). I say 100%, but there are still some there, for the Shivering Isles DLC. I want to move on, play some of the other very decent-to-good games that are mostly also gonna be big-hour games I've not even touched yet (Far Cry 2 and 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Alan Wake), as well as crack on with the Skyrim stuff I've still to do (also new DLC),but, I think I'm gonna go purchase it later. This save may end up North of 200 hours now....

I still have Oblivion GOTY to play and like to do everything I can.

Guess I will estimate to spend 175 hours on it.
