Her father is supposed to be mega rich and powerful, and does a lot of trade deals with Master Chen, so I think that's probably it. On the other hand of course, she could be a whore, though...

i think she is a whore aswell, but not to all of the people who are friendly with her, some of em are too old, if she does fuck em then thats sick (example: the boss of fortune pier)

Her father was also partnered with the Five Stars Corp. Thats how he gained a lot of his riches. Joy is considered somewhat of a Princess because of being the daughter of rich and powerful man. Thats why she's so well respected.

I think she's a bit tomboyish and as such some guys can relate. I think some of the guys think she's beautiful too but are intimidated by her boyish personality and so they make themselves content by being her friend. She's really smart too i think, she can get along with anyone, and that makes her popular.
