Captain Tylor is a really great anime. I remember watching it back in high school, one of my friends let me borrow his DVD collection of it. You dont hear about it much, tylor is a big goof, but its a really awesome sci-fi anime. I probably wouldnt mind watching that one again. Just make sure you get the series and OVAs.

Can thank Happy Console Gamer. So far I am liking it and finished disc one. I was looking for an old school anime and this hit the spot.

I finished Captain Tylor 3 times. I loved the soundtrack like crazy. I regret giving it to my friend. Happy Console Gamer is the Man btw!!!

I started the Lucky Star spin off "Miyakawa-ke no Kuufuku"
Then after that Im debating on which anime to re-watch. Ether Death Note in Spanish dub or Higurashi in Japanese dub (most likely Higurashi since the weather here now fits the setting)

I've decided to re-watch Higurashi (season 1) in Japanese dub because I miss the anime so much

It started strong but kinda faded. It's a decent follow up but lost a lot of charm the original had. Also seems to toned down Captain Tylor himself. Shame. Also a nitpick the original series leaves off

they steal the ship and run off to live free. Now all the sudden the fleet has forgotten? At least when Star Trek did it they got punished.

Wow. I came super close to buying that. Thanx for the heads up. In fact, the only reason I don't have it now is that I felt the price was a bit too steep for such a short anime. I made the mistake of buying Final Fantasy Unlimited. Suckiest anime ever.

Dying to order some of those limited edition Ghibli Japanese Blu-ray's. At $70-90 a piece it's rough, but will be a fun collection to form. Love Ghibli so much.

on Hulu is the English subbed Blue Dragon anime. Yup based on the game on Xbox 360. I really wanted a Dragon Quest anime but since Blue Dragon basically is Dragon Quest and same style. Works great and fills my need. So far I like it. Too bad you can't buy it.
