I watched all three episodes of World War Blue. It's an anime re-imagining of the console wars between Sega and Nintendo. It wasn't bad, but it was surprisingly perverted. Don't watch it with anyone that doesn't know what they're getting into.

I'm also a bit over halfway done with Sword Art Online. I feel like it could have ended perfectly already but they dragged it out to get some more money. I've been told it gets even better though, so I'll have to watch rest of it.

So similar to the premise of Hyperdimension Neptunia, except with just the original two consoles instead of all 4 companies (Sega, Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft) going at it?

Just finished watching gto for the umpteenth time, about to finish knight sabers. Knight sabers is meh, i started watching it because i was in a cyberpunk mood but it's not that great and really lacks the punk aspect of cyberpunk. When it comes to cyberpunk themed anime cybercity oedo 101 is much better even though much shorter

This anime has to have the two most misleading first episodes ever. It seems to "scream" sailor moon, all cute and innocent and cheerful. But then shit gets serious. This has to be one of the darkest and most depressing shows I've ever seen. It's good, but definitely not for kids.

Thought i'd put this here. Thoughts on this new Ghost in the Shell live action movie? im not familiar with the film makers so im not sure what exactly to think about it. The guy that directed Snow White and the Huntsman is directing it. Didnt see it so I cant comment.

I just finished watching episode 84 of Rurouni Kenshin. What I always loved about this show is the historical practicality and social undertones. This particular episode got me to thinking about how society has tended to degenerate over time. It's sad, but in the episode, the leader of a ninja group puts Japan in a vulnerable position allowing foreigners to dominate them, in hopes of getting power for herself. That simplistic and backwards thinking is something that plagues a lot of cultures and societies around the world. Countries ripe with resources will allow foreign powers to rape them in hope of a little money and power that lasts for just a generation. Because of greed, the United States is actually doing worse than in the past. In the days of less medical technology, healthcare and the economy were doing better, which makes no sense.

Watching Seirei no Morbibto. My second viewing since it came out in 2008, enough time for me to forget most of the plot and characters.
