Even not knowing the context I love how it's retro while being damn creepy of a Silent Hill game...when SH was great. Like you say near perfect.

I guess I'm just a sucker for a good ending credits theme. This one has always been fantastic. Just such a melancholy poignance to it. Beautiful stuff.
I should have snatched up the Front Mission 4+1st soundtrack when I had the chance. Now it's expensive as hell.
