I just ordered the first DVD set of Animaniacs for my one-year-old niece for Christmas.
Cartoons these days are just too shitty. A kid needs to be raised knowing how great cartoons can actually be. And I'm sure my brother will appreciate it (we were both pretty nuts for the show back in the day).
Would have went with Batman: TAS, but I don't want to turn her into a tomboy.

That was a good gift idea, but you should have waited until atleast 4-6 years old, a one year old isnt going to be able to appreciate all that animaniacs has to offer at that age. But godd effort OL. I know all this kind of stuff cause I have a 2 year old niece and a 8 month old niece, honestly my 2 year old niece doesnt even really watch TV, she always has her nose in a book, which has to be a rarity this day and age.

I got it more in anticipation of her growing up. I know she won't understand or appreciate it at this very moment, but kids grow up fast. Five years can go by before you know it. Better that she grow up along with intelligent, well-made cartoons rather than the dumbed-down poop jokes on tv right now.
