What TV series are you watching?

I'm at the 4th episode of firefly and it's alright but I don't see it as good as everyone on the internet seems to think it is. Maybe I just went in to it with too high expectations.

I have never watched the series but there was a movie tie-in called Serenity, and it was pretty fun to watch! Also directed by Joss Whedon.

Just finished Community Season 6.

Still decent if there's nothing else to watch, but it's definitely a shadow of its former self. While I do think it was somewhat better than season 5 and had some good moments, it proves that the return of Dan Harmon wasn't some magical panacea that would return the show to its former glory.

Started Star Trek Deep Space 9 a couple months ago and just finished it today. So good. I never thought anything could top The Next Generation, but boy was I wrong.

This show succeeds where CSI: Cyber completely fails. It's accurate with the computer jargon and hacking culture, and not only that it's a great storyline so far with really intriguing characters particularly the main character.

Wayward Pines. 4 episodes in. This is some crazy ass shit. Love how they keep playing with your expectations all of the time. I have no idea what any of the answers are. Plus, the show just has this sense of dread and creepiness that is just beneath the surface. People expecting this to be a Twin Peaks rip off will be in for a rude awakening if/when they watch this.

I just finished my... probably fourth time through Six Feet Under? Maybe only my third, not sure. Still by far the best show I've ever seen.

Only show I'm currently watching is Hannibal, which is fantastic. I'm gonna be so disappointed if it doesn't get picked up by netflix or amazon or something.

Also, I guess Rick and Morty, but that's not back on yet.

I love The Wire, and I can't recommend it enough. It's up there with Breaking Bad or even better (no kidding). Anyway, I'm watching right now the second season for Tue Detective, my favorite TV series in the moment. It's not yet as gripping as the first season, but I believe it'll be getting there.

Just finished Community Season 6.

I don't think that there has been a show that has gone so up and down in terms of quality as much as this. It had the odd good episode this season but the last episode pretty much just commented on everyone's problems with the show. One day I will have too go back and watch Season 1 as it felt like after that everyone just became a characterchure of themselves, it's been 6 years so it will be interesting if my mind is just making it seem better then it really was. 5 years ago after the first season I was telling everyone too watch as it was the funniest show on but now I wouldn't even tell people too bother.

The Wire is definitely my favorite TV show. I don't think I've seen a TV series that can match the awesomeness of The Wire. Right now I'm trying to keep up with Season 2 of Power and I'm thinking of re-watching all the seasons of Game of Thrones.
