Went into GAME today and they wanted £55 for Zombie U.

Nintendo are doing a conference focusing on Wii U games tomorrow. Hopefully they announce some games and we get a date for stuff like Pikmin and Lego City.

I've only played around with the Wii U a little but I love the idea of the gamepad as long as it's used right for stuff like maps and inventory management. I plan to get a few people together and play some Nintendoland to give it a proper go.

Wii games look great on the system. Just having the clearer signal really improves the overall look so I will finally go back to some stuff I missed.

Maybe Segata can help me but is there a way to turn on the system without the gamepad turning itself on?

Nope, sadly the power management system on the tablet is ass. Even if you use the pro controller to turn the system on the damn tablet will turn on too. Theres no way to turn it off, so most times when playing AC or Ninja Gaiden I just let it die.

I finally got to try Black ops on it, its running a few frames slower but everything else (textures, msxaa,and connection speed) The reason to play this version is the features tho. I was playing with a friend online, on the same system but he was using his TV and I was using the gamepad.

...I'm kind of wanting to rebuy Resident Evil 6 on it because of the prospect of co-op.

I'm a bit worried for the systems longevity when Black Friday sales see the U outsold by 360 and playstation alike. At first I thought it may have been a limited supply choking sales, but one look at ebay and the thing is barely fetching msrp. When the original Wii came out those auctions were 4-5x retail.
