Thing is, if I actually saw boxes of "horse burgers" on the shelf, I'd buy a box just to see what they were like! A few folk I've spoken to have said they've actually eaten horse meat and it was pretty good as well!

yeah I was reading about iceland as well, I think the meat was coming from ireland, I guess we now know what happens to the losing horses, if you're lucky enough you mind find a bit of the jockey in there

Yeah, my dad doesn't like it because those people are the business owners, the ones who employ us. But I keep telling him right now you just have to worry about yourself and it doesn't affect us. Just be glad they renewed the tax cuts for lower incomes.

Wait, what? I knew that the average wage was quite high over there, but there can't be many single parents on $260k a year, surely!?

What do you mean "high"? You think feeding two kids on $260,000 a year is easy? Or feeding four kids on $650,000 is all fun in the sun? If it were, the people in the illustration would not look so overwhelmingly depressed. $650,000 just doesn't stretch as far as it used to for feeding a hungry family these days. I think they look sad because Obama's taxes are going to reduce them to food stamps at this rate.
