yes only seen three episodes and very surprised I like it. The style is not normally my thing.(I prefer Gits,Appleseed,GunXSword,CB tyoe looks) Also normally not one for the anime that has yell lines and wacky crazy shit. But this while again on 3 eps in has got me.(maybe didn't help I started with the OPUA on Wii). The Hulu is the Funimation dub so it's not bad. I was totally turned off by it when I first saw it on 4kids. 4kids really destroyed it with all the editing trying to make it kid friendly. This seems more adult wacky humour.

This is probably my all-time favorite anime/manga series bar none. No other anime comes close to with the action/fighting and strong friendship bonds between characters. There is also quite a few somber moments through out the series. My only gripe is a personal one which is the the drawn-out battles common in most anime. The Gold D. Roger introduction can get quite annoying after a couple hundred episodes.

That can get quite annoying after, as you mentioned, a couple hundred episodes. But then you get the extra long openings not counting the intro. Fuck yeah three minute long opening.

I think I'm going to stop. I'm not one of those people who likes reading at he bottom of the screen. They had it English now the rest is in Japanese. I just don't do dubs like that when watching anime. So I'm done. I want to watch more just wish Netflix would put it on streaming. I think the library had it so I may check it out next time I go.

^^That does tend to kill a lot of anime for me nowadays. Might seem like a shallow sentiment, but it's hard for me to get into an anime if it's animated like shit.
Haven't seen One-Piece, so I'm not passing judgment on it personally. Just making a general statement.

most of the series isn't exactly animated well, but most series don't now, its kinda sad. Well not kinda its really sad

It looked fine to me.
It does sometimes have that Hanna Barbara stillness to it but IMO not so bad it's annoying. For the most parts it's fine.
