I noticed there wasn't even a topic so I'm not sure if it will interest many but Rockstar released some new screens of GTA5 today

Wasn't that interested in Double Dragon Neon but since it'll be part of Plus, I'll give it a shot. On the other hand, I cannot wait to play Machinarium, finally!

Apparently the whole game is done. Its pretty bad that 20 years later Square-Enix has gone backwards in terms of localization.

Sooo...currently thinking of buying The Last Rebellion for PS3. Am I crazy? Is it really as bad as people say it is? Since looking by the videos of it, the battle system looks unique enough (targeting specific parts of an enemy's body when attacking, semi real time style gameplay) and I really like the cel shaded look of the game. Also listened to some of the OST and it's a great listen. Not played a "HD" JRPG since Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll a couple of months back, (mainly been playing handheld Strategy RPGs lately) and was looking to play another HD JRPG.

So. Anyone played it?

it's not a terrible game, Henry, and i'm sure you would find some value in it but it's poor and it feels like a budget PSP JRPG upscaled to hd.
it definitely doesn't feels like a hd PS3 rpg.

No shes just really wasted in ME3. Infact most of the ME2 squad are wasted in 3 as in hardly in it or poorly used.

Iwata speaks to Kotaku about DLC

"we cannot, and should not, ask our consumers to embrace the situation where they are required to make excessive payments. Doing such things might be good for short-term profit, but it will not serve our mid-term and long-term business developments."

"I think, when the player has exhausted what's in an existing piece of software, when there are no more challenges and there is nothing more they can do, if we then introduce a new level or a new character—something new for them—we just increased their motivation to want to go back; we've also increased the amount of time they're going to enjoy that software. And one thing Nintendo has determined as a company policy, what we are not going to do is create a full game and then say, ‘let's hold this back for DLC.' That's not our plan. We're definitely not doing that. It's an extreme example, but I think there are examples of games where you get that initial purchase—the very core part of the game—and everything else around it is all DLC. However, if you do that I believe customers will have no motivation to go out and buy the retail package to begin with."

...

"So our goal is to create DLC in such a way that consumers do not feel that they have been cheated or deceived. Now I believe there are people out there, readers, who have are worried about that, and we just want to ensure them that we have that in mind and want them to know that that's not what we are planning on doing."

I frickin' hate how scenarios, single player and missions are referred to as campaign now. I mean puzzle games having a campaign? Modern day scrubs, my lord.
