I never had the pleasure to play JSRF from start to finish.

I still haven't finished it actually... maybe I need to get back to that. Been feeling like it for a while.
I think I stopped after trying about a thousand times to wall jump all the way up some kind of tower-like structure in the sewers to get a grafitti soul. I did it eventually, but I think I was just a bit burnt out on the game by that point.
Enough time has passed though.

I think the info graphic is wrong. that was just some special edition like halo xbox. I think it came with that Poekmon game that you talk to pikachu in the mic. System is fairly rare now

"A sequel to Gravity Daze, winner of this year’s Japan Game Awards grand prize, is in the works, according to director Keiichiro Toyama’s Twitter. Among the wave of congratulations from fans was a message “Congrats! Can’t wait to play the sequel”; Toyama replied “Thanks! I’m hard at work on it.”"

As Ryudo says, they're wrong. Well, I think they are. The title of the poster incorporates the word 'redesign'. I suppose the Pokemon N64 is a redesign of sorts, but not in the same way all the others are. It's merely a 'themed' N64. In terms of making it smaller, lighter, etc.. it doesn't count at all. It's no 'slim' N64. Nor was there one.

Personally, I like to take these redesigned consoles with a pinch of salt. Again with the N64, there are various models with differing guts. You can only do the RGB mod on the launch model, for example. The N64 circuitry was simplified over the course of it's life (just as all consoles are), it merely never received a new form-factor for it's outer-shell.

This is true for all consoles. There are many different variants of the PS3 slim, for example. Completely different guts.

Well looking at it again you can see its a different shape to the normal N64 and its missing the 2 sticking out corners at the front.

As I've been playing it a lot the last 2 weeks i thought i would post this Retrospective: Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Would have bumped the topic till i noticed it was last posted in in 2009.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-08-19-retrospective-banjo-kazooie-nuts-and-bolts

Still say most gamers never even gave it a chance and hell its worth buying just for the Klungo mini-games ;-)

Is it really so strange? The fans weren't exactly M$ lovers and they were really pissed when Rare was bought by them. Plus, in the day of Nuts & Bolts release X360 had an extremely strong image of a console for space marines shooter maniacs and it was mostly them that used it.

Most the bitching was simply its not a platformer like the last 2 so I'm not buying it.

I mean how dare a dev do something different.

[...] our aim is to take the 3D platform adventuring game into the next generation and do something more than just adding polygons. Some fans look back fondly and want more of the same, but the Banjo of yesteryear has no real place in tomorrow's market on the Xbox 360. What we want to do is retain all the elements that made the first two games so loved, but also try things that breathe new life into a genre that has sadly been neglected for many years.

N & B is just terrible. I already posted Jon Tron but everything he said is correct.
