I think it comes down to playability. Its one of the easiest zelda games to actually play, there aren't many unskippable tutorials, its fairly easy without being a cakewalk, theres no particularly long sections. The only thing people cringe on is the water temple but aside from that you can sit there and beat it and enough stuff happens that its never really boring.

Windwaker has the triforce hunt, twilight princess has totorials, Phantom hourglass has the ocean's king temple. Like almost all of the games released after lost a piece of what makes the series fun and/or had a major flaw in their playability.

Water Temple isn't hard. Annoying at times maybe but t's really not a big deal. WW is the easiest Zelda ever but not why I have it as a personal fave. My ONLY complaint about TP is the over world is while big,lifeless. Other than that to me the best made in the entire series. Wind Waker I love so much for the charm if a Disney film. WW to me proves why link does not need to talk. His expressions tell all. Triforce hunting was not a big deal either then again I had a guide and physical map. To me NES games suuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Did not like MM. Oot is enjoyable but not this BEST EVA people list it as. WW awesome. TP to me very well made. Also love the ones on GBC. Phantom Hourglass is pure shit and did not even bother with choo choo zelda.

I tend to just go through. if I can't ask someone and they tell me from memory I don't really bother. I never really got into guides and faqs unless it had to do with playing something thats in another language (and even there I did MT, Thracia 776, Rent a hero and Tales of Phantasia with no guide)

With all that said, the triforce hunt kills me, I keep an extra file for after the hunt if i want to play through it again. I also really like Zelda 1 and 2 (despite dumb shit like Eror) but I like Castlevania 2 as well, those really old games don't bug me too much.

Thing that bugged me most about PH besides the Ocean King. I despised the gimmick bullshit of only styli controls. Come to think of it it reminds me of the Onion giant lick wheel mocking of apple. Sometimes too simple makes it more complicated and unnecessarily. As much as the Ocean thing sucked the controls to me are worse.

I actually didn't mind it, its not the most accurate thing but I could see the potential, to me it was another input, but then again I don't necessarily believe on forcing a certain input on people so having a button layout would have been nice.

I'm testing a memory leak and its not like a huge leak that causes a crash after a few minutes, but it doesn't take like a day to crash either so its in this annoying place where I have to keep checking on it every 10-15 minutes.

I do find it funny even Nintendo now looks at the DS Zelda's and says. Yeah we don't like them either. To me the DS games are the closest Nintendo has gotten to the CDi crap....just of course not near as bad.

DmC takes many plot elements directly from They Live. What is Ironic is the game is about fighting evil corp capitalism and consumerism from a company (Capcom) that locks DLC on disc then charges you for it.

They turned Dante into Duke Nukem, but 3D Realms took a ton of shit from they live. So it funny how things go round like that.

^Which is easily one of the best FPS games I have ever played. Then again, I do think he explained that it was because it (and FPS games in general) gave him motion sickness.

He also hates Nier. Tut tut, Ryudo, tut tut.
