Seriously, I think there needs to be a digital bil of rights that all companies selling digital services in america need to uphold. Shit I think every country should have a digital bill of rights.

Was just about to link and post about this too. Nintendo really needs to get their act together in those regards. His problem was preventable but inexcusable when so many other digital services tie the content to an account rather than system.

I remember when I was a kid, back in the best decade in history, when all manner of Mario and Nintendo was EVERYWHERE. Nintendo kept you entertained with video games, but that was just for starters. They kept you cool will the Nintendo branded ceiling fan. They kept you warm at night with the Super Mario comforter and bed spread and helped keep the bogeyman at bay. (or maybe that was The Real Ghostbusters bed spread that did that, I forget) They kept you fed with NAN-TAN-DOH cereal for fuck sakes.
But never, in ANY of that time did I ever see Mario/Zelda action figures or toys line the halls at KB or Hills or anywhere. I can scarcely believe it considering how the 80's generation ate that stuff up. (literally) I wish we had these new kinds of figures and stuff back in those days. Even if they had to be dramatically simpler to accommodate for an older era and lower price point. I would have loved a Link action figure.
