I strongly recommend Sublime, 311, and Tool.

Definitely Blink 182.. songs like "Dammit" and "What's my Age Again" are great tunes. Dude Ranch and Enema of the state were both awesome 90's punk albums. Not to mention the guys are hilarious..They have actually become quite talented now.

Anything Offspring is golden, old good charlotte is good but it's more early 2000's. Green Day has always been great, but with their last three albums that released in consecutive months Uno!, Dos!, and Tres! they have returned to their 90's punk rock origins. I have not heard Tres! yet but Uno! and Dos! are both awesome.

But Punk is rebellious. So posting that is rebellious in itself.

Therefore, it's Punk.

When the mood took em to give it a try, The Wildhearts did punk and pop punk as good as anyone. Well they had enough elements of them to qualify. I'll fight anyone that says otherwise. Please say otherwise, beedle.
