This never ceases to amaze me. Any normal light bulb last maybe a month or two. A Florescent 5 years. A light bulb from 1901. Still working and never turned off.

I haven't but that's cool. I actually only learned about Kittinger after watching that biggest jump video.

Yeah always known about planned obsolescence. The house I grew up in we have a furnace from when the house was built in the early 1940's and it still worked like a charm. Sadly when things are made to last they make less money. Nintendo I think doesn't do PO as their systems are built so well. I already been through 2 PS2's in 9 months.
I had a TV last 9 years. But in my parents room they had a record player 35 years old. My mom still have Bedroom furniture bought cheap in the early 60's but is built so well. My 1953 Cab TV is solid as a rock. As a gaming collector every so often I have game systems break down. Nintendo I never worry.
