You know the stoners I know actually didn't want this to pass, don't really know why. Had a facebook page setup called "Stoners Against I502".

Last year I voted against closing down the state liquor stores and letting private businesses start selling it. Now it is taxed so much more people have been going to Idaho to buy it thus people were stupid once again they should have known it was going to be like that.

probably because with legalisation it will be harder to get the more powerful buds as the softer legal ones will be more widespread

Probably coz it's on it's way to legalisation. Once it gets there, tax'll get piled on, and an eighth will go from £20 to £85.

Exactly, what happened when the state closed their liquor stores, they just imposed such a ridiculous tax on it in the private stores that people have been going to Idaho to evade the tax or just not buy as much as they did before. So it may be more convenient to not have to go to a state owned store, drive a mile less, but you are paying an arm and a leg more.

I would imagine it is because of regulation. But legalizing it, the government can control it.

Never touched the stuff but if people want to do it they should be allowed to. Do 2 minutes of research and you can see how it's no worse for you then some stuff that is legal.
