Hurricane Sandy

Hi Guys,

I was in the disaster zone for hurricane sandy so i may not be online for a while. Anyone else get hit by it?

I was pretty close to Atlantic City NJ which is completely underwater.

For photos if your curious just google hurricane sandy.

Power company is saying that ill be out of power for about 2 weeks since my whole farm's wiring is down which is a good mile of cables.

Bloody hell, it all sounds a bit mad over there. Hope everyone is OK.

It wasn't Katrina bad but still pretty bad. 50 dead. 80 homes burned down. Subways closed for a week to clean up. Power still out for many. Lot's of flooding. Lot's of damage to other homes and buildings. Could have been a lot worse.

That's just his normal pattern. He is on Biohaze almost daily but I forgot to check there. I emailed him earlier but no idea if he has power or not.

My job just got power back.

Cant be online for too long but I tried getting in touch with Yama.

Cell service is broken over here and I didn't see him in the usual spots.

I know manhattan got hit hard so I hope he's alright.

Log in almost daily, no worries. Just haven't posted much due to a rough couple of week. Lost a family member prior to this storm, it's been never ending. Things however are looking up, can't complain.

Im sorry to hear for your loss Yama. Yeah, Im in NJ and it got destroyed. I'm about 30 minutes from Seaside Heights which is obliterated. My friend didn't leave his home and his son drowned. Dude it was a horrible storm. I heard they shut down the NY Subway for a week. Glad to hear your alright.

Another tree fell on my house so I'm current out of power again. Luckily, I'm at work right now.

Sonikku, your from NY too? Manhattan area? I've been meaning to go to NYC soon to go see the Xmas tree in Rockefeller Center, if your around, I'd love to meet you! You too Yama!

Theres a gamestop in Rockefeller Center, one time I got them to play Bob's Pizza on their speakers in the store. Biggest accomplishment of my life.

I flew into DC a day after after the hurricane hit. Ironically right after leaving Hawaii when a tsunami was supposed to hit (turned out to be a small tsunami that only raised the water a few feet).

Anyway, the city most definitely was not underwater. Appears it hit other places a lot harder, though. Good to know everyone here is still alive.
