Can I use Gameshark to play What's Shenmue?

Had a gameshark for DC for years. I just need to un bury it. Does it also work as a boot disc?

Want to play it on my US DC.

My "Whats Shenmue" didnt work with the utopia disc that came with it, nor did the Project Berkley disc. I was gutted to say the least

I used a gameshark lite to play Shenmue II before.The GS lite didn't work on my 2000 model DC.

Check the NTSC logo on your dc.If you see a 0 or 1 it should play cd-rs.Won't play if you see a 2.

Well I know it works on my DC. Had it for 10 years. JUst hope it can be used as a boot disc. Sounding like maybe not. Real shame. Still will proudly display it.

I've used the Gameshark to play my copy of Shenmue II on my US Dreamcast. Can't see why it wouldn't work.

i also used a gameshark to play my PAL Shenmue 2 on my US dreamcast back in the day. it was called gameshark CDX (or somethin like that) put in gameshark and pick start game with no cheats. swap out gameshark disc for S2 and VOILA!
